Honoring Heroes: Veterans Afield Foundation
Although July just feels like a good time to publicly share our support, we believe in celebrating veterans and first responders every day of the year. To do so, we’re honored to announce our proud and vocal support of the work of Veterans Afield Foundation, a 501(c)(3) focused on helping combat veterans, first responders, and Gold Star families heal through nature and non-clinical therapeutic outdoor activities.
VAF provides therapeutic outdoor experiences — like hunting and fishing — in small groups designed to foster trust, connection, camaraderie, purpose, and healing in a natural setting. These programs offer physical challenge with psychological support; veterans connect through shared stories, fresh air, and purpose-driven experiences in the wild.
As part of our partnership with this incredible foundation, the leadership team at Tennessee Spring & Metal helps fund, advise, and promote their programs, while also contributing time and leadership support.
